July 2008 - BP's Oil Industry Toolbox has been update.
The OITB primary purpose is to deliver HSE Training, DOT Qualification information and Policies/Procedures/Bulletins that apply to BP's Contractor workforce.
HSE training required for BP contractors is available on this site as self-study modules are included and contact/access information is provided for training that must be delivered in person. This improves the deliverability of our training as it enables contractors to access much of the BP-required training from an off-site location. Additionally, those contractors who are ISNetworld members may have HSE training completion records sent directly to ISN. Specific process must be followed if records are to be sent directly to ISN. Instructions are located on the HSE Training page.
The Toolbox was originally designed to assist contractors in maintaining compliance while developing Environmental Management Systems (EMSs). The OITB continues to provide helpful links to regulatory sites.
Statutes, regulations, and other references are provided for reference purposes only. Such resources are not provided for legal advice or counsel, and may not necessarily incorporate changes, revisions, amendments, or other legal modifications. Parties are encouraged to seek independent qualified counsel to gain current status, interpretation, and application of any legal environmental requirement. It should be used for example purposes only and should not replace the environmental programs or legal guidance developed in the normal course of business.
